Jessica was the first American actress to play a big film character, considering that her prior films had been made in Australia. Jessica's skills in mixed martial arts, horse riding and weaponry as well as her capacity to do stunts, provide her the opportunity to play a powerful female character. Jessica has been trained in boxing as well as muay Thai in Australia in addition to practicing at a mixed martial art gym. Jake Stormoen came across a wandering pet while shooting Season 4.
